HOW SPRAY & SLAY WORKS
Here’s a grim fact: 95% of fleas live in your home environment, not on your pet. To break the fast and furious flea life cycle, give your home a one-off blast of Spray & Slay. From eggs to adults, our fast-acting, long-lasting, flea-blasting formula will help turf out the little blighters — and any dust mites too — from the very first spray, as well as put a halt to the development of flea eggs and larvae for up to 12 months.
As with all insecticide treatments, please read all the safety guidance provided and use only as directed.
THE IMPORTANCE OF PARASITE PROTECTION
Although fleas are a year-round problem, summer-time is really when the jolly jumpers go bonkers. Thanks to the perfect combination of temperature and humidity, fleas are living their best lives in summer, with the climate providing ultimate breeding conditions for their lifecycle.
Flea infestations cause a whole host of unpleasant symptoms, including:
Itching
Scratching
Visible flea dirt
Hair loss from overgrooming
Skin irritation
Mysterious insect bites popping up on you as well
For existing infestations or if you’re new to Itch, use Itch Flea Home Spray as a one-off blast to deliver almost certain death to the 95% of fleas hiding around your home. Use it alongside a monthly dose of Itch Flea spot-on treatment to keep the blighters at bay.
Let’s not forget about worms. Most gastrointestinal (GI) worms will squirm their way in when your pet accidentally eats worm eggs or larvae (gross, we know. And yes - it does happen!).
Worm infestation can cause various unpleasant symptoms in our furry sidekicks, including:
Abdominal discomfort
Diarrhoea
Weight loss
Dull or lifeless fur
Anaemia
And worms don’t just affect our pets - they can give us humans grief as well (particularly young children or anyone with a weakened immune system).
Giving a regular dose of preventative worming treatment will stop the wrigglers taking hold, keeping you and your family members (furry and non-furry) safe.
PREVENTION VS ERADICATION
“Prevention is better than cure.” It’s a popular saying, isn’t it? And for good reason - particularly where pesky parasites are concerned.
Did you know 5 fleas on an untreated pet can lead to 1 million+ eggs infesting your home in as little as 4 weeks? Once an infestation is established, it can quite literally take MONTHS to fully eradicate. Feel like your skin is crawling yet?
You can avoid all this drama by using our effective, preventative treatments. Tell us about your pet and we’ll recommend a personalised pet wellness plan with vet-approved, parasite prevention products (and more), tailored to your pet’s unique needs.
Worms can wreak havoc on your pet's health, given half a chance and they're not just a threat to your pet. They can be a threat to people too - especially young children or those living with a weakened immune system.
A regular worming regime helps to keep you, your pet and your family safe by killing all common intestinal worms currently living in your pet's gut. By protecting your pet from GI worms, you are also helping to protect your family and the wider community, by reducing the number if infective worm eggs and larvae out there in the environment.

DO I NEED TO PROTECT MY PET REGULARLY? CAN’T I JUST GIVE THEM TREATMENT IF THEY GET FLEAS OR WORMS?
Both fleas and worms can cause a whole host of unpleasant symptoms in our pets. Not to mention the hell a flea infestation can unleash in your home (it can quite literally take MONTHS to get rid of them).
Give your pet regular preventative treatment to prevent the pests taking hold. You’ll be thanking us later...
DO I NEED TO PROTECT MY PET AGAINST FLEAS AND WORMS?
Absolutely. It’s important to preventatively treat your pet for fleas and worms together. Think of them as an iconic duo, like ham and cheese, or Ant & Dec.
Believe it or not, one of these pests can lead to the other! That’s right, your furry sidekick could accidentally swallow a flea mid-grooming sesh and if that blighter is carrying tapeworm larvae, they’ll be in your bestie’s guts and multiplying before you know it.
A winning combo of Itch Flea and Itch Wormer will stop both of these pests in their tracks.
IS YOUR PACKAGING RECYCLABLE?
We want to do our very best for the planet we share with our furry sidekicks. One way we can make a difference (and help you make a difference, too) is by keeping sustainability top of mind when it comes to the way we package our products. If there’s a way to make our packaging even greener, you can bet we’re on a mission to sniff it out…Itch Flea and Itch Wormer both come in a recyclable box which can be disposed of in your home recycling bin. The foil and pipette for Itch Flea and the blister for Itch Wormer aren’t currently recyclable (but we’re working on it). Itch Flea Home Spray has a polypropylene lid which can be recycled at home, as can the aerosol can (location dependent). Our treat pouches are 100% recyclable, ink included! They can be recycled at large supermarkets, or check your local council for kerbside recycling. For Itch subscribers, after month 1 we’ve ditched Itch Flea’s excess packaging to save on waste paper. You’ll just receive our flea treatment in its sexy foil jacket. This change alone means we’re saving 13 tons of paper waste a year.
